Hey There!
My name is Skyler James and I am currently attending the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for my MFA in Animatronics. I graduated from James Madison University with two BAs, one in Studio Art and one in Theatre with a concentration in Design and Technology.

Hey There!
It has been my life's goal to try as many new mediums as possible, and such I have dipped my hands into as many different artistic modes of expression to add to my tool box of skills. Primarily, I enjoy the physical side of art: painting, drawing, sewing, sculpting, and fabricating. That being said, I have recently found a new love for 3D modeling in Fusion 360 and zBrush, as well.

I love nothing more than to tell stories, no matter what the medium is. I've worked in animatronics, costuming, props, illustration, and more to tell my own and other's stories. My belief is that combining different mediums ultimately creates a more complex, multi-faceted, end-product that makes a lasting impression with the viewer.
